Prologue Films
Main title designer Kyle Cooper has been credited as the man who single-handedly revitalized the main title sequence as an art form. His groundbreaking title sequence for Se7en (1995) changed the way we look and think about title design today and is arguably the most imitated main title ever made. The Se7en title sequence was hailed by New York Times Magazine as “One of the most important design innovations of the 1990s”.
Cooper founded two internationally recognized film design companies, Imaginary Forces and Prologue Films, both of which are based in Los Angeles and both are influential in their field. His body of work includes over 100 film title sequences. Among the most memorable ones are Dawn of the Dead, Spider-Man (all three), Superman Returns, and many more.“I’ve always been interested in film and editing—more specifically, the juxtaposition of images in film or on a single page.”
Initially, Prologue focused on main title design, but now does motion, graphic, game and interactive design and VFX for film and TV and other media

The above photo was released in Maxim Magazine’s May issue which featured rare behind the scenes photos from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. So now we know how that opening crawl was created… (via POTD: Filming The Empire Strikes Back’s Opening Crawl | /Film)

From 20 degrees above the ring plane, Cassini’s wide angle camera shot 75 exposures in succession for this mosaic showing Saturn, its rings, and a few of its moons a day and a half after exact Saturn equinox, when the sun’s disk was exactly overhead at the planet’s equator. The images were taken on Aug. 12, 2009, at a distance of approximately 847,000 km (526,000 mi) from Saturn. (NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute)
